How to Collect Your Water Sample 

Prepare the Tools:

  • Sample tank 
  • Sterile sample bottle 
  • 70° alcohol 
  • Sterile cotton   
  • Medical gloves 
  • Curved hemostat   
  • Mask 
  • Note & label 
  • Ice 

Prepare the sampling area 

Step 1

Use alcohol-soaked cotton to disinfect the entire sampling area

Step 2

Flush water 1 - 2 minutes

Step 3

Sterilize bottle with alcohol & fire

Step 4

Fill sterile bottle with water

Step 5

Attach label (name, date, location)

Step 6

Store at 0–4°C (with ice) and deliver to testing center within 3 – 5 hours
